This Print is just what it sounds like, Protective hairstyles. This seamless repeat was inspired by a vintage European gold chain print. We replaced the gold chains with cornrows and locs in reference to the creativity, status, and protection that different black hairstyles have offered us through the millennia.

The beautiful handcrafted paper in these handbound books has been recycled from t-shirt material. Once you get converted to the pleasure of writing on texture, you can't go back to flat!
